Engineering

The Engineering department is the central point in our company. Engineering provides a HiCAD 3D drawing based on the measurement data, which is offered to the customer. A statistical calculation according to EUROCODE 3 is linked to each mezzanine floor. This report guarantees the strength and quality of the mezzanine floor.

You can create your own mezzanine floor at Profielnorm. Our engineering department makes flexible and tailor-made solutions. A construction calculation is made for each mezzanine floor. The qualified project engineers make a detailed HiCAD 3D drawing. In addition, they ensure proper processing through production and logistics. Therefore, engineering is the central department at Profielnorm.

Production

Profielnorm provides tailor-made solutions for the customer. This makes the production of Profielnorm an indispensable link in the whole process. With our rolling mills we make C+ and S+ profiles, the load-bearing capacity of our mezzanine floors. Profielnorm has its own modern and complete factories that produce and assemble the various elements of the mezzanine floor. All parts are ultimately delivered to the construction site as a ‘building kit’.

The roll forming machines, on which the C+, Sigma+, and I+ profiles are formed and punched, are the showpieces of our production. Automatic sawing machines, welding robots, and an automatic drilling line are responsible for the manufacture of the columns, stairs, and railings for the mezzanine floor. New in our internal process is powder coating, more about this in the next step. Thanks to the (in jargon) SMART production technology, Profielnorm can provide its products with the CE quality mark. This means the production process is fully geared to making parts of steel structures in accordance with NEN-EN 1090, the general European standard for load-bearing steel structures.

Powder coating

Powder coating is the next step in our internal process. Our own fully automatic powder coating line provides a high-quality finish. The parts are successively blasted, coated, and dried in an electrically driven oven. Thanks to this powder coating line, Profielnorm also has control over the coating process.

This expansion in the factory ensures shorter delivery times and more flexibility. Your new mezzanine floor will be delivered in the RAL colour of your choice. Let us know your wishes and we will get to work for you. For example, your mezzanine floor fits perfectly with your business premises or company colours.

Transport

The components of the mezzanine floor are delivered to the construction site as a ‘building kit’ by truck. The transport of your mezzanine floor is in safe hands with Profielnorm. You can then choose whether to have your mezzanine floor installed by our professional installation teams or do it by self-assembly.

Installation & Project management

Profielnorm has experienced assembly teams who, assisted by lifting equipment and specialist tools, guarantee the professional construction of your new mezzanine floor. Our technicians have the necessary certificates for a professional and safe installation.

During the process, your mezzanine floor project is linked to a Project Manager. The Project Manager will assist you from the moment your order is final. To ensure that your mezzanine floor fits perfectly into your business space, the Project Manager will visit your building and measure for you. The Project Manager will then be your contact person and ensure that the mezzanine floor is ultimately delivered and/or installed as desired.
