Profielnorm B.V. was founded by Jos Schot in 1997. In the first instance the components of the mezzanine floors and the racks were purchased from the attic room. Soon the attic room was exchanged for an office building and the company grew. In course of time Profielnorm B.V. decided to start an own production. It began with a welding department, then a rolling line was bought. By means of this development Profielnorm B.V. now is an independent firm, which manufactures all components of a mezzanine floor or cantilever rack on its own.

In 2008 Profielnorm B.V. moved to the current location in Tholen, Zeeland, Netherlands. After a year it became clear that the factory had become too small, due to the growth of the production volume. For this reason the construction of a second production hall of 1200 m² was started at the end of 2009. This factory was has been used since mid-February 2010. In the first hall the profiling of C+ and S+ sections takes place now. The welding department - with welding robot - is located in the new hall.

Successful small and very large projects have settled down our name in the market. The production and development of mezzanine floors and cantilever racks is our core business. We realize this by our professional organization, consisting of the divisions engineering/planning, assembly, production and sales/marketing.
